It’s a very rainy day here in Lagos, Nigeria which is somehow inspiring and calming. Very happy to share with you the 2nd issue of the Filmmaker Soft Life! It was a bit of a challenge to keep up with the writing because of my change of location but here I am. Keep it moving WHILE…taking breaks. :D

HOLIDAYS/BREAKS - I've worked back-to-back in contracts with the addition of multiple side hustles now for multiple years in a row with little to no breaks. This year I asked the universe to give me 9 months on and 3 months off & the universe delivered. I LOVE to travel and feel so blessed that I'm able to see the world again - THIS IS THE SOFT LIFE I ENVISION - experiences, travel, culture & most importantly, BALANCE.

I'm inspired daily by my Grandma who built an orphanage in Nigeria. This for me is GOALS and just inspires me to keep pushing for my own goals - check out the Instagram for updates on fundraisers & to see how the kids are getting on.

1 Resource

I am - Daily Affirmations and Motivation - Daily quotes are the best apps I've ever downloaded and it's like they read my mind. Anytime I fall and think I can't do it, there's the motivation app picking me up, dusting me off and reminding me that I absolutely can do anything I put my mind to. The best thing for resetting your mindset is positive vibes.

1 Tip

Make a VISION BOARD/DREAM BOARD - I use the CANVA website to make mine. They're so useful for you to see your goals all there in front of you and the satisfaction when you cross them out is insane! DREAM BIG / AIM HIGH and watch your dreams come true, even if it's not exactly as expected, you will receive what is meant for you.
